Michele Zimmerman is a violinist, singer-songwriter, and music educator based in Winston Salem, North Carolina. With a rich and varied musical background, and over twenty years of playing experience, she can be heard performing jazz, bluegrass, classical music, and her own original songs in the Piedmont Triad and beyond.Michele holds an undergraduate degree in classical violin performance from UNC School of the Arts, and a Master's in contemporary musical arts from New England Conservatory, where her areas of focus were jazz improvisation, folk music, and songwriting.
